If You Received Pre-Recorded Message About A Free Cruise, You May Be able To Get Up To $900!
There is a settlement on a class action lawsuit for receiving telemarketing calls from RMG offering free cruises by pre-recorded message between July 2009 and March 2014.
For each RMG telemarketing call you received you can receive a maximum of $300. The maximum amount of the Settlement Fund will be $12,500,000, so the actual payment amount to each individual will be based on the total number of calls and valid claim they receive and the amount they have to pay the Class Counsel (lawyers).
You can file a claim for up to three calls per telephone number included in the “call records”. This means that your maximum payment amount could be $900 per telephone number.
If you would like to file a claim you must complete the online form or if you are going to sent it by mail have it post marked no later than November 3, 2017.
There is an option to check to see if your phone number is part of the class action settlement (its the 3rd option), my number was not eligible but my parents number was (and I will let them know)
Is your number part of the class action settlement?
