Capital One Venture X Business

The Capital One Venture X Business is offering 150,000 bonus miles when you spend $30,000 in the first 3 months of opening the card.

Yes, this card does have a large bonus offer but that comes with the large minimum spend requirement, so this offer may not be for everyone.

This card has a $395 annual fee but has some great benefits that would justify the annual fee

• Get a $300 credit annually for travel bookings made through Capital One Travel (you can book flights, hotels, and car rentals).

• Get 10,000 bonus miles every year, starting on your first anniversary (equal to $100 towards travel)

If you utilize these two benefits you will already offset the cards annual fee!

More Capital One Venture X Business benefits,

  • The card earns 2X miles on all purchases, 10X miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, and 5X miles on flights booked through Capital One Travel
  • Unlimited access to Capital One Lounges, and at 1,300+ Priority Pass™ and Plaza Premium Group lounges (you can enroll here for Priority Pass membership)
  • Get up to $100 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck® fee every 4 years
  • No foreign transaction fees

Capital One miles currently transfer 1:1 to,

  • Star Alliance: Air Canada Aeroplan, Avianca LifeMiles, Singapore Krisflyer Miles, TAP Air Portugal Miles&Go, Turkish Miles&Smiles
  • SkyTeam: Aeromexico Club Premier, Air France/KLM Flying Blue
  • OneWorld: British Airways Avios, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, Finnair, Qantas
  • No Alliance Airlines: Emirates, Etihad
  • Hotels: Choice Hotels, Wyndham Rewards, Choice Hotels

Unlike most other Capital One cards besides the Spark Cash card, this card does not report spending on your personal credit report, so a high utilization rate of your credit line will not hurt your credit score.

This is a charge card with no preset limit and the balance has to be paid in full each month. No preset spending limit does not mean unlimited spending, the amount you can spend can change over time based on your spending behavior, payment history and other factors.

The Capital One Venture X Business is a business credit card so you will need a business in order to apply for this card. You don’t need a big business or corporation, by having a small business for example selling online you can also sign up for this card. When asked about yout Business Legal Structure select that you are a “sole proprietor” and then you can check “My business doesn’t have an EIN” where it asks for your Employer Identification Number.
