One of the hottest American Express promotions is still Small Business Saturday, and it coming back for a third year!!!
Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on the busiest shopping weekend of the year, the Saturday after Black Friday this year it will be November 24th. To promote shopping at small businesses, American Express offers you a $25 statement credit when you spend $25 or more at a small business you can click here to see eligible small businesses on the Shop Small Map
American Express just posted on the Small Business website that enrollment opens on November 18 at 12:00 AM Mountain Standard Time which is 2 AM EST.
Enrollment will continue until 11:59 PM MST on November 24, 2012 unless the enrollment limit is reached sooner (which it will).
Small Business Saturday works like this,
1) Register your card (enrollment opens Nov. 18).
2) Spend $25 at an eligible small businesses on Nov 24 (You have to spend at least $25 in 1 transaction).
3) Get you $25 statement credit within 8 weeks (usually applies to your account within a few days).
Last year, besides all pizza shops, restaurants or ice cream stores that are open every Motzei Shabbos, there were stores that opened special for Small Business Saturday, like Peppermill and Eichlers in Boro Park, Toys For Thought in Lakewood and some of these store let you get $25 gift cards to use on future purchases! I am also sure there will be many more stores open this year to take advantage of this promotion.
