REMINDER: This Goes Into Effect Tomorrow – Amazon To Raise Prime Membership Prices To $119!
REMINDER: Today is the last day to get the lower price of $99 for a year of Prime membership before it goes up to $119 (current Prime Members with their Prime Membership renewing by 6/15/18 will be renewed at $99, all Prime Memberships renewing on 6/16/18 or after will renew at the new price)!
If you currently have Amazon Prime, and on your renewal date will be charged the new price of $119, you can purchase an Amazon Prime gift membership which you can send to yourself for the current price of $99, keep it saved in your email, and activate it when your current membership is up. Just make sure to set your account that your current Prime membership should not auto-renew or cancel it before it renews (if you click to activate the Amazon Prime gift membership and your current Prime account is still active, you will receive a $99 Amazon credit to your account instead of activating a Prime Membership).
If you have Prime Account that is grandfathered in with the old Prime Membership sharing rules, and have your Prime Membership shared with up to 4 other people, by activating an Amazon Prime Gift Membership you will loose this option.
