Small Business Saturday – Get A $10 Statement Credit (Still Time To sign Up For A Credit Card & Add Additional Users)
As I posted on October 1st, American Express is once again offering their Small Business Saturday promotion (this year its on 11/30/13) but it not so lucrative as in the past, as it will only be $10 per card instead of $25 like it has been for the past 3 years.
To be able to take part in this promotion you will have to register your cards separately (even additional users on the same account). Registration opens on November 24th (I’ll remind you then).
In the past the Small Business Saturday promotion worked on all primary American Express cards even those from third parties (like from Citi or Barclays), but if for some reason you do not get the credit automatically applied to your account, you will probably not be able to get the credit manually for the 3rd party cards like you are able to with cards issued directly from Amex by calling or just secure message from your online account.
The Small Business Saturday promotion also worked on secondary cards issued directly from American Express but not for cards issued by third parties.
If you don’t have an American Express card or want to add additional users to your account there is still time to do so. You should note that by adding to many additional users to your account, you are asking to get a financial review (they ask for proof of income etc.) from Amex.
