Amazon Starts Sunday Delivery With USPS

November 11, 2013 Comments Off on Amazon Starts Sunday Delivery With USPS

I guess most times when there is a news update its negative, but here is some good news coming from Amazon.

Amazon announced today they have made a deal with the USPS (United States Postal Service) to start Sunday deliveries.

The service already started this weekend in New York and Los Angeles and Amazon plans to expand it to a large portion of the U.S. throughout 2014.

This is for Amazon Prme members and for NON members as well. Amazon will not be charging extra for the new service (though Amazon has raised the minimum purchase to be eligible for free shipping to $35 from $25 at the end of October).

So those of you with prime can order on Friday and with the 2-day shipping get it on Sunday!
