Delta SkyMiles: 1,000 Free Miles For New Members
Delta is offering 1,000 bonus miles for for new SkyMiles members.
As you all probably know already, Delta has announced that starting January 1, 2015, miles will be earned based on ticket price and not on distance flown making it even harder to earn miles and changing to their 5 level award chart making it harder to redeem your points and making Delta SkyMiles less valuable.
But if you don’t have a Delta account it doesn’t hurt to open an account now to get the 1,000 bonus miles!
The offer is valid only for new SkyMiles members joining the SkyMiles program for the first time (a “new” member is someone who has not been a member of the SkyMiles program in the 6 months prior to enrollment).
Allow 4-6 weeks after qualification for bonus miles to appear in your SkyMiles account.
