All coupons or else stating “Do Not Double” that are that are less than a $1 (meaning 99¢ or less) will double in stores like Shop-Rite, Pathmark & A&P. (Stores in the city do not double thses coupons).
Here is an example – If you are buying a box of Scotties tissues for $1.50 and you have a coupon for 50¢ the cashier will scan your coupon and you will see the register deduct the 50¢ 2 times saving you a dollar making the price you paid for the box of tissues only 50¢.
