Good News: Google Voice Officially Supports OBi Devices

I have previously posted many deals for the obi devices that gave you free calling to the US and Canada when using it with Google Voice. Then late last year Google said they would be pulling all XMPP based calling on May 15, 2014, and that meant that Google Voice will no-longer work with an Obi device for free calls. Though that never did end up happening Obi sent a notice that the calls can stop at any time, but it never did stop and my Obi kept on giving me FREE phone service!

Today Obi has announced that Google Voice is now Officially Supported on OBi VoIP devices!
