New Changes To The Staples Rewards Program (Starting March 15)
I just wanted to remind you all that the changes for Staples Rewards starts today March 15th!
Staples is making some changes to the Staples Rewards Program, which will take effect starting March 15th. There are 2 changes that will benefit most rewards shoppers, and 1 change for the worse.
I’ll start with the good news,
- Staples Rewards members get 5% back in Staples Rewards on all purchases (including technology).
- Staples Rewards members will get free shipping with no minimum purchase.
The change for the worse is (but not that bad),
- They are also changing the rules for the $2 ink or toner recycling program that you have to spend at least $30 in ink and/or toner at Staples over the previous 180 days, to receive the $2 back in Staples Rewards per cartridge, where up until now you didn’t have to spend anything 🙁 . So if you have any ink or toner to recycle do it before the 15th
The only exclusions to the Staples Rewards program are taxes, postage stamps, gift cards, delivery charges, coupons, pre-paid phone cards and purchases made on third-party Web sites. Free shipping is available on all Staples.com orders. Currently, orders on any third party Web sites, purchases on staplescopycenter.com, print.staples.com, and staplespromotionalproducts.com do not apply.
