Here is an email I received last week from reader A.E.
“American Express is having a Small Business promotion in Chicago and offering a $10 credit statement when you spend (at least) $10 or more at a qualifying small business in Chicago by 7/4/12 with your Amex credit card.
I am friendly with the owner of Hat Box and told him about this offer, he called me back letting me know that the Hat Box location in Chicago is accepting phone orders for $10 gift certificates that can be used in any hat box location.”
