Starwood Hotel Category Changes For 2015

Starwood has announced the category changes for 2015.

This year they will not be changing any prices to their categories, and within the categories 11.78% of their hotels will be moving down in category, meaning they will become cheaper in price/points and 10.49% will be moving up in category, so on a whole this years changes are not to bad!

These changes will go in to effect on March 10th 2015, so if the hotel is going down a category then wait to book and if you plan on staying at a hotel that’s on their list of going up in category make sure to book your stay before the 10th. Most hotels let you cancel for free up to a certain amount of days before your reservation (just make sure to check what it is, before you book).
