Targeted Offer – Amex: $25 Statement Credit When Spending $100 At Staples.com
American Express is offering SELECT CARDHOLDERS a one-time $25 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a total of $100 or more online at Staples.com by 2/7/2015 (in-store and phone transactions are excluded).
The terms for this offer state “Physical and electronic gift card purchases are not included” its the fist time Im seeing this type of exclusions for these Amex offers, and I am wondering how will they know if I bought a gift card (when they exclude e-gift cards or corporate gift cards which they have done in the past the transaction process differently but if I buy a regular gift card from Staples and the order processes from Staples how would they know?)
