Although Remote, The Agudah Convention Is Going Strong

The Agudah Convention’s track is enjoyed by thousands each year. This year, with the Agudah Convention going remote, will continue that tradition. The topics discussed may have been discussed before, but in the COVID era they all deserve a fresh look.

Thursday night features the session titled “Kosher Technology? Practical Advice” will include presenters Rabbi Yossi Bensoussan, Mashgiach Ruchani of the Yeshiva High School of Cleveland; Mrs. Aliza Feder, Head Mechaneches of Bais Yaakov Machon Ora and author of Tech Talk; and Dr. Eli Shapiro, Director of the Digital Citizenship Project. The session will be moderated by Nachi Gordon, the founder and director of Meaningful Minute, and will discuss the effect of technology on our families and relationships, how to talk with our children about it, and what is now different because of COVID-19.

And join us on Motzei Shabbos for “The Jewish Woman in the Digital Age: Business and Family.” The presenters include Mrs. Chayale Kaufman, founder of the Jewish Content Network and Consult Write Media; Mrs. Sara Sicherman, founder of Strata Consulting; and Mrs. Shira Weinstein, the founder of The Home SetUp. Balancing family and work, advice for both new and veteran business owners, and being frum at work will all be addressed in this fascinating panel discussion.

The live call-in number for the convention is 718-298-2077 (in Canada, 647-797-0056). See the image above for the extension list for individual sessions – the full list will also be available from this Thursday morning by calling 212-797-9000, extension 105.
