Dear friends, Southern Israel is facing a terrible crisis, as rockets continue to rain down from Gaza. The situation is dire, with at least 1,400 lives lost and more than 3,400 people injured.
Many citizens are still in critical need of medical attention!
Unfortunately, standard ambulances are not safe for transport in this current hostile environment.
The people of Sderot desperately need an armored, bulletproof ambulance!
This vital initiative is being spearheaded by Am Yisrael Chai (AYC) and The Dream Raffle founder, Shmuel Sackett, who is directing AYC’s focus toward raising $350,000 in funds to provide an armored, bulletproof ambulance to the brave medical responders in Sderot.
This ambulance will help them to safely evacuate the wounded to hospitals without risking further harm from shrapnel or gunfire.
For over 20 years, Am Yisrael Chai has funded many lifesaving projects in Israel, such as:
- Rasing $250,000 to build and support Israel’s first Search and Rescue center
- Providing $850,000 in funds for the Israel Dog Unit to conduct rescue and anti-terror operations
- Raising $400,000 to support Israeli farmers affected by terrorism
- Giving $1,300,000 in aid to widows and orphans across Israel
