UPDATE: Samsung Price Mistake Orders Cancelled – But Are Giving $50 eCertificates to Samsung.com!!

As with all price mistakes (I mean real price mistakes, not when websites just post those words to get you to buy the product), and especially price mistakes that are off by a few hundred dollars (and when thousands ordered), the chances of the product getting shipped out to you for that price is really really slim, but for some reason I had some good feeling about this one so I posted it without knowing what the outcome will be.

To no surprise Samsung did infact cancel theses orders, but a couple of hours after the the cancellation email came, I received an email with the subject “Important Information About Your Samsung .com Order” saying that it was a pricing error, apologizing about it and offering a $50 eCertificate to use at Samsung .com 🙂
